She also volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels and was active on the homeowners’ committee at Serenity Towers where she called home. She is also survived by grandchildren Sean and Debbie Willis of Kissimmee, Fla., Christopher Willis of Orlando, Fla., and Angela and Steve Rivers of Atlanta, Ga., Laura and Tony Turner of Kernersville, N.C., and Jennifer Butera of Orlando, Fla. stepsons Sylvester and Luann Ray of Melbourne, Fla., and Lambert Ray of Altoona, Fla. stepdaughters Eloise and Dave Lipson of Jacksonville, Fla., Truby and Wilton Perdue of St. daughter-in-law, JoAnn Cade of Hazard, Ky. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Tony Butera of Sanford, Fla. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Elder Herbert Wendell Cade, her son Wendell Allen Cade, her husband Jabez Ray and her stepson Eddie Ray. She was born Ruby Maxine Lovins in Centerville, Pennsylvania on Novemto the late Elmer and Viola Lovins. RAY, 85, of Sanford, Fla., passed from this life into the presence of our Lord on Friday, December 14, 2012. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Phipps family.
